Kia Shows Off A Swoopy Concept That May Be A New Stinger
SAUDI ARABIA: The Stinger was discontinued in 2023, but ever since, there have been consistent rumours that Kia is planning on bringing back the Stinger as an EV. The EV successor has been quite elusive over the years, but with the shadowy images shared by Kia recently, it may truly be that the rumours were true all along, and we might get official confirmation on a Stinger that won’t have its iconic V-6 engine. However, as it stands right now, nothing is confirmed, but the rumours run strong with more power than ever before, thanks to the newly shared pictures from Kia.

The “Kia Concept”, as it has been shared now, shows off a heavily aerodynamic design, the likes of which haven’t been seen before at Kia. This new concept embodies Kia’s edgy design language quite well, and even though it has similarities to a Stinger, it is also clearly visible that the concept showcases a significantly different look. There is currently very little information on whether the “Kia Concept” is going to be the Stinger GT1 or something entirely different.

In terms of the facts that can be digressed, the concept looks bigger than the EV4. Considering the front of the vehicle is so short, it makes it seem like an EV significantly. Since the concept does not have any B-pillars, it signifies that this is only a concept for now, and not a production-ready model. As it stands right now, the “Kia Concept” is just a super swoopy concept model that showcases Kia’s next-generation lineup. Regarding the concept, Kia stated, “A new future is on the horizon. Our vision takes shape soon.”
