How does GoGo Motor’s pre-owned car portal work?

1.     The portal allows listings of vehicles matching specific criteria to be sold over the platform. 

2.     Users of the portal – sellers or buyers – should be registered and verified through our portal’s specific process  

3.     The portal currently accepts listings of Passenger cars of all types and light commercial vehicles. 

4.     Vehicles should be less than 6 years and 150,000 Kms mileage. 

5.     All vehicles should undergo a thorough Inspection Test (fees apply) in one of GoGo Motor’s certified Inspection Centers within the predefined network.  

6.     Upon successful inspection your vehicle will be listed on the portal.  

7.     Interested buyers can engage with sellers via the portal after they register. Contact details of buyers and sellers are then revealed to interested parties. Test Drive / Car Viewing scheduling can also be organized through the portal.  

8.     After the initial package expiration, there may be an additional charge in order to extend the listing time period for a further 30 days. 

9.   (Coming Soon) Portal users will be offered a set of Value-Added Services such as Insurance, Vehicle Financing, Extended Warranty services, Roadside assistance services, Services/maintenance packages and Windows Tinting through a continuously enhanced list 

10.  The Title Transfer will be done as per the agreement between the buyer & the seller through Absher platform. 

11. ((Coming Soon) Vehicle doorstep delivery will be available in the cities of Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam, if a customer selects the specific service with the predefined transportation cost.  



How do I register on the GoGo Motor portal?

1.     In order to enjoy the full services of the portal, you should be a registered user.  

2.     You can sign up by providing your mobile number and email address. A One-Time Pin (OTP) will be sent for verification. 

3.     Following this a set of fields needs to be completed to create a full user profile.  


Does GoGo Motor own the cars I see online?

The GoGo Motor portal or Petromin Corporation do not own any of the cars that are listed. These belong to the individuals or the businesses that created the listing and have passed the portal’s specific requirements.  

GoGo Motor is a portal to facilitate interaction between users and vehicle owners/sellers and provide the users with an opportunity to browse the vehicles listed and conclude sale and purchase transactions with the owners/sellers.  

The portal is an intermediary only, providing an online marketplace for its users. For the avoidance of doubt, the portal provides a service and not goods.  

Please note the below points: 

1.     GoGo Motor platform is not responsible for any financial transactions between the buyer & the seller. 

2.     The buyer needs to check all formalities with the seller before making any payments. 

3.      For your security, all payment transactions should be through the official channels. 


Does GoGo Motor offer a pick-up/drop-off service?

Coming Soon) The portal will offer a pick-up service for selective packages only covering the cities of Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam. 

This service will be offered through a third-party transportation company that meets the portal’s specific quality requirements. 


What are the working times for connecting with Customer Care/making inspection appointments?

1. Inspections can be carried-out at selected Petromin Express and/or Petromin Auto Care outlets across the kingdom. (Full locations list will be available while listing your car)

How can I buy a car on the GoGo Motor portal?

1.     Following registration on the portal, you can browse and bookmark vehicle/s and get contact information of the seller/s.  

2.     You can book appointments for vehicle viewings and/or test drives through the portal.  

3.     Following the sale agreement with the seller, the Title Transfer will be done through Absher platform. 

4.     (Coming Soon) GoGo Motor will offer a variety of Value-Added Services, including Insurance, Vehicle Financing, Extended Warranty services, Roadside assistance services, Services/maintenance packages and Windows Tinting – for a one-stop, hassle-free experience.  


Why should I buy a car on the GoGo Motor portal?

Certainly, you should request and schedule a vehicle test drive.


1. Contact details of the seller will be sent to you.  

2. Listings also provide the availability of the current owner for scheduling a viewing and / or a test drive.  

3. You can ask for a specific date/time slot.  

4. The seller will confirm it with you via a message to your mobile.  

5. A meeting place can be organized directly with the seller.  


Is the price of the car negotiable?

Is the price of the car negotiable? 

1. Listed vehicles are not owned by GoGo Motor.  

2. Any car price is defined by its owner, and it is at their own discretion to decide if they would like to make any changes.  

3. Any price negotiation should be done directly with the owner of the listed vehicle. GoGo Motor is not involved in price negotiations in any way.   

4. Any information provided through or on the portal is for information purposes only and such information does not substitute any specific advice from GoGo Motor and is not intended to provide a user with any form of certification, guarantee or warranty.  

5. GoGo Motor is not responsible and cannot be held liable for any transaction between portal users.  


What is the vehicle payment process?

This process is defined by Absher.  

1.      It is a 100% online service.  

2.     The vehicle price is deposited into a service intermediate account that guarantees your right to document the amounts and receive the vehicle.  

3.      The service enhances the safety and trust level in dealing with the other party to buy or sell a vehicle, after an agreement is reached between the two parties.  

4.      If a disagreement arises between the two parties or they do not wish to continue the deal, the sale can be cancelled at any time before completing the "Delivery of the Vehicle" option, and all amounts paid will be refunded electronically.  

 

Check the following terms before executing the service:  

1.     Both the seller and buyer must be registered on the Absher platform. 

2.     The vehicle's sale price shall not be less than SAR 5,000 and not exceed SAR 200,000. 

3.     The vehicle must be in a good operational state; it should not be reported as missing, be under any kind of seizure, or be subject to any ongoing legal custody. 

4.     Only vehicles categorized as "private" or "private transport" are eligible for this service. 

5.     The vehicle's registration license must be currently valid. 

6.     The vehicle must possess a valid technical inspection certificate (known as FAHAS). 

7.     The vehicle must be covered by a valid insurance policy. 

8.     A government fee of SAR 150 is applicable and must be paid through the SADAD payment system. 

9.     There should be no outstanding violations against the buyer or the vehicle. 

10.  A resident is permitted to own a maximum of two cars classified as "private," each with no more than 8 seats. 

 

Service Fees: 

11.  The buyer must pay a service fee of SAR 230 (including VAT) to complete the sale through the Absher platform, in addition to the SAR 150 government fee required for vehicle ownership transfer. This amount is to be paid through the SADAD payment system and added to the vehicle's sale price. 

12.  Should the sale be canceled for any reason, the fees paid are refundable

Is there a finance option available for buying a car?

1. This is a service that will be added soon. Our aim is to provide our customers with the best financing options.  

2. GoGo Motor does not guarantee that your financing applications will be successful, as this is up to the decision of the respective financial institution and its specific criteria and T&Cs.    


Which locations do you service?

Currently GoGo Motor services the cities of Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.


What do I do if my preferred car is not listed on the portal?

1.     GoGo Motor offers a “Wish List” function that enables you to get notified about your preferred vehicle once its available, which means you do not need to re-visit the portal and perform new searches continuously.  

2.     By filling-out your specific criteria i.e. Vehicle Type, Body Style, Budget, Transmission & Fuel Type, the GoGo Motor portal will automatically notify you when a car matching your expectations is listed so you can quickly act on it.  


What documents are required for Title Transfer?

1. Car Fahas (MVPI) pass report.    

2.  Istimara (valid car registration licence).    

3.  Valid Saudi ID or Iqama of buyer and seller.    

4.  Valid Saudi driving license of the buyer.  

5.  The vehicle must have a valid insurance policy.  

6.  Payment of applicable government fees, through the government payment system (SADAD).  

7. There must be no violations logged against the buyer of the vehicle.

Which cars can be listed on GoGo Motor?

The guiding principle of GoGo Motor is to list and offer selected used cars based on quality and reliability. That is why all cars listed on the portal have undergone a rigorous inspection process and have their history verified.  

The cars that can be listed on the portal are:  

1.     A maximum of 6 years old  

2.     A maximum of 150,000 km mileage 

3.     Cars that have successfully had their history verified (no major accidents, no “salvage” cars)  

4.     Cars that have successfully undergone the specific inspection process defined by GoGo Motor at one of their Inspection Centers.

How long would it take to sell my listed car?

1. The portal offers you the latest digital technology and incorporates a variety of services at your fingertips so you can enjoy a fast, trustworthy, and seamless experience.  

2.  The average time for selling your vehicle depends on your individual situation. A lot of factors play a role here – including economic factors, brand, model, body style, the level of mechanical wear and tear, maintenance history, technology, color and asking price amongst others. As a rule of thumb, it is best to expect to sell your car in 4-6 weeks when doing business with an individual.

Can I list a car on behalf of my family member or friend?

1.     Yes, you can sell a car on behalf of a family member or friend but for this an authorization letter from the owner of the car should be provided and uploaded on the portal.  

2.     We may request that you provide proof of ownership, and that the vehicle is located in KSA or has been cleared by KSA Customs. If you do not provide us with proof, you will not be allowed to proceed with the car listing.  

3.     You may connect with Customer Care for further understanding of the procedure.   


Can I list a car of a deceased family member?

1.You would need to contact our Customer Care who will explain about the legal requirements and specific documents required to do so.   

2. We may request that you provide proof of ownership, and that the vehicle is located in KSA or has been cleared by KSA Customs. If you do not provide us with proof, you will not be allowed to proceed with the car listing.  


Can I list a car on behalf of my company?

Yes, you can list company cars on the portal.  

1.     In order to proceed with listing before registering on the portal we will need the following documents:  

2.     ID of the assigned person. 

3.      An authorization letter on the corporate letterhead, which is stamped and signed by the company’s authorized signatory.   

4.      Copies of commercial registration of the company.  

5.      If you do not provide us with proof, you will not be allowed to proceed with the car listing.   


Can I list a car with outstanding finance against it?

Yes, listing a car on the portal with outstanding finance is possible.

  1. We will require an up-to-date letter with details about the current settlement figure from your finance institution.   
  2. You will be asked to contact Customer Care. After providing the documents the specific portal criteria and processes have to be followed 

Some parts of my car are broken, how could I fix it to get it listed on your portal?

1.     Following your registration on the portal you will be asked to book an appointment for inspection at one of our Inspection Centers.  

2.     After the inspection is completed, the Inspection Report will indicate with clarity the specific areas on the vehicle that needed to be repaired based on our extensive checkpoint list.  

3.     Based on the inspection report you will know the parts that need to be repaired or changed so you can get the necessary repairing done to get your car listed.Shape  

 


How do you define the price value range of a car?

1.     Defining the price of the car to be listed is at the sole discretion of its owner.  

2.      GoGo Motor offers an Asking Price value range service to help buyers and sellers to understand the attractiveness of the asking price.    

3.     GoGo Motor offers a price range indicator which shows the range in which the asking price falls vs market average. 


Can I change price of my car after listing?

1.     Post vehicle upload and after passing the inspection process, the seller may update the price of the car up until the purchase agreement is finalized. 

2.     If the seller does not change the asking price and the car remains unsold 30 days after the listing date, an email will be sent to the seller suggesting a price update. 

3.     The decision to adjust the price is at the discretion of the seller. 

4.     If the car remains listed for 60 days without being sold, the seller will be notified via email that the vehicle will be de-listed the following day. 

5.     Extending the listing beyond 60 days is possible for an additional fee. 


What is the method of payment and how I will receive the money after the sale?

The payment and ownership transfer are conducted via the government platform, Absher. The GoGo Motor portal does not engage in this process as it occurs directly between the seller and the buyer. Please ensure the following terms are met before executing the sale: 

 

1.     Both the seller and buyer must be registered on the Absher platform. 

2.     The vehicle price should be no less than SAR 5,000 and no more than SAR 200,000. 

3.     The vehicle must be classified as "private" or "private transport." 

4.     The vehicle's registration license must be current and valid. 

5.     The vehicle must have passed the Car Fahas (Motor Vehicle Periodic Inspection - MVPI) and possess a valid FAHAS certificate. 

6.     The vehicle must be insured with a valid insurance policy. 

7.     All applicable government fees must be paid through the SADAD government payment system. 

8.     There must be no recorded violations associated with the buyer or the vehicle. 

9.     A resident can own up to two "private" vehicles, each with a maximum seating capacity of eight. 

10.  Service fees: The buyer is responsible for paying a service fee of SAR 230, which includes VAT, for the completion of the sale through the Absher platform. This fee is in addition to the government fees for vehicle ownership transfer, also payable through the SADAD system.
