2026 Leapmotor A10 Revealed: The City Electric Car Impresses At A Budget-Friendly Price

SAUDI ARABIA: While the race for who can make the most expensive car has been going on for decades, there’s a new race on which brand can make the most lucrative and affordable car in the world. The race mainly constitutes Chinese automakers, and until now, BYD has been ahead of the curve significantly. However, with the introduction of the Leapmotor A10, the bridge is closing fast. Built by the Chinese automaker Leapmotor, the A10 is an affordable urban transportation solution that focuses on unique features, good range, and a decent driving experience at an almost unbeatable price. 

Revealed at the Guangzhou Motor Show 2025 in China, the A10 serves as the entry model for the 10 series from Leapmotor. It comes ahead of the B10, which was previously the smallest model available from Leapmotor in this segment. The car has not only been revealed, but it is also ready for sale in the UK already.

2026 Leapmotor A10 Design Highlights

The A10 will have a compact design, but it is not based on the B10 or the C10 models. It brings a new design styling for Leapmotor. One of the design highlights of the Leapmotor A10 is the use of separated headlights and a smooth front end that doesn’t have a grille. In a similar fashion, the rear end of the car has tail lights that feature LED signatures with a smiling face.

2026 Leapmotor A10 Performance Highlights

The Leapmotor A10 will come with a driving range of around 400 to 500 km per charge. This range is based on Chinese CLTC testing. However, as per the WLTP test, the range may be somewhere close to 320 km per charge, which is still very impressive. The car is expected to have a front-wheel drive powertrain.
