Pagani Brings Back The Huayra To Celebrate Horacio Pagani’s 70th Anniversary
SAUDI ARABIA: Pagani is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its founder’s birth by manufacturing an ultra-rare Huayra 70 Trionfo model. This model will only see three units in production, making it among the rarest of rare cars. The Huayra was initially discontinued to make way for the Utopia model. Even as the Pagani Huayra makes its way back, the model is not the same anymore. Only the doors and the window frames of the original Huayra have carried over. The remaining parts of the car have been newly designed. This includes the dual-point headlights and the quad-light themes.

The body of the car is manufactured using carbon fibre and features a green and orange colour scheme that’s striking to say the least. The ultra-aggressive bodywork of the 70 Trionfo suggests that the car has been inspired by the Huayra Roadster BC. The 70 Trionfo now features Mercedes-AMG’s twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12 engine, which outputs a stunning 834 hp. The engine is paired with a seven-speed manual transmission, which marks a great feature for purists. Even though the Huayras have been discontinued for some time now, it is fun to see Pagani find new ways to bring the car back into the spotlight.

The ultra-rare 70 Trionfo is not a production car, and most of us reading this will be lucky enough to see one in real life, let alone own one. However, as luxury automobile sales dry up significantly in major markets and the push for EVs, the strategy of luxury brands is to opt for even more exclusivity and rarity, which are perhaps the only things that will keep their doors open. And as far as the Huayra 70 Trionfo is concerned, it is a fantastic vehicle with a deep significance to the brand, so anyone who opts to buy it will own a heritage car without a doubt.
