The Bentley Continental GT S Now Comes With A Hybrid Option
SAUDI ARABIA: The Continental lineup just keeps adding new models, thanks to very proactive Bentley leadership. The GT S is the newest addition to the lineup, which will be placed above the base variant in the Continental variant list. The GT S will follow a standard formula at this point for the Continental, which is a hybrid V8 engine with an all-wheel drive setup.

The output of the GT S outperforms the base model. The engine outputs 128 hp more power to deliver a final 670 hp. The W12 engine is definitely missed with this variant, but Bentley has mentioned that the new setup will outperform the retired 12-cylinder engine. As a hybrid, the GT S also gets a 50 km pure electric range, where you can turn off the engine and enjoy the quiet. The car also gets a rear wheel steering and an electronic limited-slip differential.

One of the interesting facts about the new GT S model is that even though it has a half-second quicker 0 to 100 kmph sprint timing (3.5 seconds), its top speed still stays under the top speed of the Speed variant. This is an intentional choice by the brand to differentiate the two variants and create a space for each. The 306 kmph top speed of the GT S is not one to complain about, so it provides much power and speed for those who dare.
In terms of design th GT S is getting its own styling, starting with black exterior accents. The car also gets tinted headlights and taillights and dark exhaust finishers. The two-tone wheel options can also be changed out for a full-black set to truly make it your own Batmobile.
