Bentley Previews The Bentayga ‘X’ Concept - Details Inside

SAUDI ARABIA: Bentley has previewed the X Concept, which is based on the Bentley Bentayga Speed. The X Concept is currently Bentley’s first off-road-oriented SUV. Even though it is a concept, the model is expected to be road-ready, and it is currently being used to stimulate and gain feedback. To ensure the model is off-road ready, Bentley has provided a raised ground clearance on this model, along with a wider track and all-terrain tyres.

Bentley Bentayga X Concept: Performance Details

The Bentley Bentayga X concept borrows some inspiration from the Bentayga Speed variant. As a result, the X concept retains the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine from the Bentayga Speed. The engine outputs 650 hp and features an AWD setup that suits its off-road styling. The X concept also gets anti-roll bars and an air suspension system. 

Bentley Bentayga X Concept: Dimensions & Design

Compared to the Bentayga Speed, the X Concept has a 55mm higher ground clearance, it is 40mm wider, and has a 1,200mm wider track for better stability. The car will get water wading capabilities of up to 550mm of water, as well as getting 22-inch rims made by Brixton with all-terrain tyres.

In terms of design, the X Concept gets towing mounts on the front bumper. Apart from that, the overall silhouette of the Speed has been retained more or less, with the obvious changes being the higher ride height and all-terrain tyres. The rims, side skirts, lower half of the front bumper, and wheel arches all get a new look with blacked-out finishes. Lastly, the model also gets a titanium sports exhaust from Akrapovic, along with four spotlights mounted to the roof of the car.
