French Marque Bugatti Unveils New One-off Hypercar: The FKP Hommage

SAUDI ARABIA: Bugatti is one of the most popular car brands among fans and supercar lovers. The model that made the brand skyrocket in popularity was the Bugatti Veyron. At one point, it was the fastest street-legal sports car in the world. Bugatti has announced a one-off hypercar that pays tribute to the legendary Veyron, known as the FKP Hommage. The new one-off car has been named after a significant personality in the Veyron project, Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The FKP Hommage has a similar layout to the Veyron; however, the design changes include slimmer LED headlights, L-shaped DRLs, wider air dams, and a large grille. The FKP Hommage has a two-tone paint job where the black is actually carbon fibre. The new model also gets 20-inch and 21-inch wheels in the front and back, respectively, which is also a new addition.

Bugatti FKP Hommage: Interior Highlights

The interiors of the Bugatti FKP Hommage are heavily inspired by the Veyron. The upholstered brown leather and the EB-embroidered fabric inserts on the seats and door liners are a great touch. The new model has retained the Veyron’s three-spoke steering wheel. The interiors are getting some changes in terms of the driver display, as the analogue dials of the Veyron are not making a comeback. Instead, the FKP Hommage will get a central odometer that’s flanked by small displays.

Bugatti FKP Hommage: Engine & Performance Highlights

The specs that everyone wants to know, the Bugatti FKP Hommage will see the Veyron’s iconic W16 engine in its most powerful state yet. The new model will output 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm and the engine will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission delivering power to all four wheels of the car.
