Huawei To Launch New Models For Its Luxeed & Aito Brands On August 25

SAUDI ARABIA: The launch event is scheduled for 2:30 PM on 25 August 2025 in China. There will be four cars launched between two sub-brands of Huawei, namely Luxeed and Aito. The exact models to be launched are the Luxeed S7 and R7, which are an electric sedan and coupe, respectively. For Aito, the models to be launched are the M7 and M8, both of which are going to be SUVs.

The cars have already shown great promise with over 10,000 pre-orders at a pre-sales event organised on August 8, 2025. It is also crucial to note that these cars are expected to be available in the Saudi market in the future. No official release dates have been mentioned as of yet.

 

A Look Into The Luxeed S7

The S7 from Luxeed is Huawei’s collaboration and partnership with Chery. The car will feature two primary variants namely a single motor rear wheel drive and a dual motor all wheel drive. The models will have a 215 kW and a 365 kW power output, respectively. The S7 is a sedan that will have varying performance based on the chosen variant. The 0 to 100 kmph acceleration time for the single motor variant is  5.4 seconds, and the dual motor variant’s time is just 3.3 seconds. Both cars will feature a driving range of up to 855 km and allow quick charge of up to 215 km of range in just 5 minutes of charging time.

 

A Look Into The Luxeed R7

The R7 is a coupe SUV with a great ensign. The car will have four trims and two battery options, namely 82 kWh and 100 kWh. The Luxeed R7 will feature Huawei’s ADS 3.0 assistance features for semi-autonomous driving.

 

A Look Into The Aito M8 BEV

The Aito M8 is a car of sizeable dimensions, starting with a length of 5190 mm and 1999 mm in width with a wheelbase of 3105 mm. The car will feature a dual motor setup offering 392 kW of power. The car will also feature advanced driver support features.

 

A Look Into The Aito M7

The M7 has been upgraded, and it will now be bigger than its previous iteration. This electric SUV will be a strong contender for SUVs in the Chinese market as the car features great features, advanced powertrains, and a sleek design all in one.
