Kia Announces The End Of Production For The Kia Soul After A 16 Year Production Run

SAUDI ARABIA: Kia has officially announced that 2025 will be the final model year for the Kia Soul, which was once among the most popular cars in the Kia lineup. Over its 16-year production run, the car has sold more than 1.5 million units, making it one of the most successful cars in the Kia lineup. The production of the car will end in October 2025, and for consumers who really want one still, there are still a few thousand Kia Soul models available with dealers that you can purchase. 

The car went through three generations in the US, and its unique design of an upright driving position and tall headroom made it popular among customers. Though the car was originally designed for young city-dwellers, it eventually found popularity among older buyers thanks to the design specifications mentioned previously. The Soul helped Kia launch itself in the American market at a time when they were offering budget alternatives. Thanks to its affordable price point and compact dimensions, the car became a classic in the company’s lineup.

In 2015, the car sales for the Soul went through the roof with an estimate of over 150,000 units sold in one year in the US.
