Nissan’s Answer To The Hyundai Creta & Renault Duster In The Saudi Market To Be Unveiled On February 4, 2026
SAUDI ARABIA: Nissan has confirmed the name of its new launch to be revealed on 4 February 2026. The mid-size SUV, which will directly compete against models like the Hyundai Creta and the Renault Duster, will be called the Nissan Tekton. The name Tekton is derived from a Greek word, which means “craftsman” or “architect”. The Nissan Tekton is going to have connected LED headlights and multi-spoke alloy wheels. The headlights will have a C-shaped signature with LED lights in both the front and the back of the car. The C-shape light signature is a nod to Nissan’s Patrol flagship SUV.
Nissan Tekton: Interiors & Cabin Tech

The interiors are sleek and stylish for the Tekton, with a three-tone dashboard with a glossy black finish. A bronze-coloured strip runs from the central touchscreen to the side AC vents to add some character to the dashboard design. The Tekton has a wireless charger, automatic climate control, and a sunroof. The central touchscreen is expected to have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality; however, it has not been confirmed by the brand yet.
Nissan Tekton: Engine & Performance

The Tekton will possibly be powered by a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine for the higher trims. The lower trims could possibly have a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine that’s used in the Nissan Magnite. The car is expected to get both manual and automatic transmission options. A hybrid variant could also be introduced at a later stage.
Nissan Tekton Market Positioning
Nissan has exclusive models like the Patrol in the Middle East, and the Tekton is going to be a new addition to the lineup. The model is expected to be priced aggressively to compete with other models in this highly contested mid-size SUV segment.
