2026 Mazda CX-5 Unveiled With New Look, Tech, And Hybrid Model To Be Revealed Soon

SAUDI ARABIA: Mazda has revealed the new third-generation CX-5, which has a more refined design and better features, making it more appealing than ever. The third-generation CX-5 does not come with a new engine or powertrain; however, a hybrid variant with the new Mazda Skyactiv-Z powertrain is expected. For now, the third-generation CX-5 features the familiar 2.5-litre SkyActiv-G four-cylinder engine.

 

2026 Mazda CX-5 Design Highlights

 

 

The 2026 Mazda CX-5's design aesthetic has changed, with a greater focus on a new design ideology, “Wearable Gear.” The new model features a familiar silhouette of the CX-5, but it comes with a more upscale appearance. The front fascia of the car features the signature wing grille from Mazda between angular lighting. The car’s bumper also has a sporty design with pronounced air intakes.

 

The shoulder line of the car has been improved with an edgier design. The side skirts have also been stylised along with longer rear doors to offer entry and exit convenience for passengers. The 2026 CX-5 now features sharper taillights the likes of which were available in larger SUVs such as the CX-70 and 90 models.

The new 2026 model comes with bigger dimensions for the car, starting with a wheelbase that measures 2815mm, which is 76mm longer than its previous generation. The new CX-5 will also feature a length of 4690mm anda  width of 1860mm, both of which are larger than the previous generation model. The lift-in height of the rear cargo has been reduced for easier loading.

The overall cabin layout is focused on functionality and has a clean and uncluttered appearance.
