SAUDI ARABIA: Polestar 3, which is Polestar’s flagship SUV, is getting some much-needed upgrades with its 2026 model. The most notable upgrade is the car getting an 800-volt electrical system that will allow quicker charging, improved performance, and even refined efficiency on the road. The fast charging architecture has been confirmed by the brand, and it certainly makes the Polestar 3 among the top offerings in its market segment.

The primary benefit of this move to an 800-volt electrical system is that it allows the Polestar 3 to now connect to up to 350 kW DC fast charging. The fast charging performance of the car is also commendable, as it can now charge from 10% battery to 80% battery in just 22 minutes. The 800-volt electrical system also causes less heating while charging, and it improves the car’s overall efficiency.

2026 Polestar 3: Hardware & Software Upgrades

The 2026 Polestar 3 will get several mechanical and electrical upgrades as well, including a revised suspension setup with improved anti-roll bars.
