SAUDI ARABIA: Alfa Romeo is dropping its PHEV variant on its Tonale model, before the 2026 model launch, refreshing the brand’s compact SUV lineup. The hybrid variant is dropped in true Alfa Romeo fashion with its signature Italian flair. With this variant gone the Tonale is now stuck with its single turbocharged engine as the only powertrain option. 2026 Tonale New Style & Dynamics

The new 2026 model has a more aggressive stance with subtle but effective changes to the car’s design. Inside the cabin, there are several additions starting with upgraded seats. It has eight-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and lumbar support. There are also new colour options with the car with three new shades, namely Rosso Brera (red), Verde Monza (green) and Giallo Ocra (yellow).

2026 Tonale Powertrain Options

In terms of performance the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine is now the only powertrain option for the Tonale. With a maximum power output of 268 hp, the engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the car comes standard with all-wheel drive, which makes it a great performer both on and off road. There are three trims available for the 2026 model, namely Sprint, which is the base model, Veloce, and the Sport Speciale.
