Over 400 Nissan Patrol Cars Recalled In Saudi Arabia Over Transmission Control Unit Concerns

SAUDI ARABIA: 489 Nissan Patrol cars have been recalled for a transmission software fault in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These repairs will be done free of charge by Nissan through the Petromin Corporation, which is the official Nissan dealer in the kingdom. The expected error can cause cars to lose power while accelerating. The brand has shared the recall notice with affected chassis numbers on the official website, which owners can check.

The issue is being caused by a programming problem in the transmission units of the affected cars. The Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia has already recalled nearly 500 2025 Nissan Patrol cars to ensure that the road safety of the car owners and other automobile drivers is not compromised.

What Has Caused The Recall of The 2025 Nissan Patrol Cars?

The Ministry of Commerce in the KSA has shared that the recall has been ordered due to a software glitch in the transmission control unit that can cause a sudden loss of power while the car is accelerating. This is a serious safety risk for car owners as it significantly increases the risk of car accidents. The recall is set to affect almost 500 cars, so if you are an owner of the 2025 Nissan Patrol, you must get your chassis number checked to see whether you are affected by this recall or not.

How To Check Whether Your 2025 Nissan Patrol Is Affected By The Recall or Not?
