The Hyundai Ioniq 3 To Be Officially Revealed In April 2026
SAUDI ARABIA: Hyundai is slowly unveiling its new portfolio with new cars that are expected to continue into 2027. The latest addition to the list is the Ioniq 3 model, which is expected to be officially revealed in April 2026 in Europe. The Ioniq 3 will sit below the Ioniq 5 in global markets, and it is expected to be a hatchback model that’s based on Hyundai’s E-GMP architecture.
Hyundai Ioniq 3 Design Expectations

The Hyundai Ioniq 3 will have similar dimensions to the i20 model, and it is expected to have ADAS features as well. The Concept Three that was showcased by Hyundai at the 2025 Munich Motor Show was a preview of the production model of the Ioniq 3. There have also been several camouflaged appearances of the Ioniq 3 in different parts that share some design inspirations of the Ioniq 3, which may be coming from modern Genesis models.
Hyundai Ioniq 3 Powertrain

The Ioniq series from Hyundai are pure EVs and the Ioniq 3 will be the same. The model will be based on the E-GMP architecture and have some resemblance to the Kia EV4 model. Considering this similarity, the Ioniq 3 may have around 628 km of range on a full charge. However, there is still no information on the battery pack, so the range is currently speculative at best.
When asked about the Ioniq 3, the CEO of Hyundai Motor’s Europe, Mr Xavier Martinet, said, “We have the flexibility to ramp one (model’s production) up and ramp one (model’s production) down, depending on what the market is asking for.” The CEO also confirmed that the Ioniq 3 will debut in April 2026 at the Milan Design Week.
