Volkswagen Introduces The New T-Roc Mild Hybrid SUV

SAUDI ARABIA: The T-Roc from Volkswagen has been introduced as a new generation, though cosmetically, the car hasn’t changed a lot. The changes or upgrades are inside the car and under the hood with improved powertrains that now feature hybrid capabilities, better cabin space, and overall intelligent interiors. The car is expected to start deliveries in Europe from November 2025, and pre-orders are already available. The mild hybrid model of the T-Roc has been priced around €30,845 in Germany, which translates to SAR 1,34,872.

Volkswagen T-Roc: Exterior Design Highlights 

The front of the car gets a backlit VW logo with LED headlights. The back of the car also gets a modern design with a glowing badge. The overall car’s design is streamlined and sharp, with a touch of emotion that makes the overall car feel friendly and homely. The coupe-style roofline certainly adds some personality to this model and helps it stand out more. To help tall passengers in the back of the car, the new generation T-Roc now has 120mm more length, which helps the cabin feel more spacious.

Volkswagen T-Roc: Interior Upgrades

The interiors of the upgraded T-Roc have a modern styling that feels in line with the other competing vehicles in the same range. From soft-touch fabric upholstery to a clean design, the interiors are commendable and durable at first glance. There’s a 10-inch digital instrument cluster in the front with a 10.4-inch touchscreen, or you can also go for a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The ambient lighting and upgraded materials in the cabin give it a lounge-like feeling with a boot space of 475 litres as well.

Volkswagen T-Roc: Engine & Performance

The T-Roc is powered by a 1.5-litre eTSI mild-hybrid engine that generates around 114 hp to 148 hp based on the trim. The engine is also paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission and front-wheel drive.
