SAUDI ARABIA: Nissan has improved the digital connectivity of its Patrol range of cars in the Middle East. These cars now have a more connected driving and ownership experience, which has impressed owners. The launch of the MyNissan App and the Connected Car Services 2.0 on the Patrol range of cars improves the ownership and driving experience of Nissan cars significantly.
The Connected Car Services 2.0 or CCS has been extended to all patrol cars in the Middle East, ranging from the Patrol PRO-4X to the Patrol NISMO. These updates blend smart technology for drivers and owners, improving their convenience and safety when owning these cars.
What’s The Ownership Feature on The MyNissan App?
The MyNissan App has introduced a new feature called the Ownership feature that’s debuting in the Middle East with pending global rollout. The app and this feature aim to make four regular interactions of car owners with Nissan more convenient.
The four features are booking a service appointment, exploring local attractions, scheduling a test drive, and locating nearby Nissan dealers.
What is CCS 2.0?
The Connected Car Services 2.0 are a group of smart features that are now offered to Nissan Patrol car owners. These remote features include door lock or unlock information from the app, climate control settings inside the cabin before entering the car, monitoring the status of windows and trunk, as well as a live diagnostic health of the car’s battery, oil pressure, airbags, and tire health. These smart features allow owners to remotely access several crucial information about the car and improve the car’s usability.
When asked about the new CCS and MyNissan App ownership feature rollouts in the Middle East, Thierry Sabbagh, who is the divisional Vice President and President of Nissan and INFINITI, said, “The Middle East still plays a big role in the global innovation journey of Nissan. We are happy, since this new ownership experience within the MyNissan app has made its world debut here in the region.”
