Ever Imagined The Iconic BMW Z4 With Their Neue Klasse Design Language? You Don’t Have To Imagine Anymore

SAUDI ARABIA: An internet user by the name Luca Serafini has redesigned the iconic BMW Z4 using the new Neue Klasse design language. BMW’s new design language hasn’t currently been extended to non-EV cars yet, though the brand has promised that the non-EV models, too, will get their Neue Klasse redesigns in due time.

Upcoming BMW Z4

There’s already enough sad news surrounding the BMW Z4, as the car is not expected to be in production much longer anymore. Rumours suggest that BMW is planning to phase out the car in the coming years, despite better-than-expected sales of the manual version since its release a few months ago.

The unofficial digital rendering of the BMW Z4 wearing the Neue Klasse design language was created by digital artist Luca Serafini, who was recently in the news again for the striking Concept C SUV design. The Z4 in this new avatar has won the hearts and minds of BMW and car lovers online, with users showering the redesign with praise.

Upcoming BMW Z4 Side

This new variation of the BMW Z4 takes inspiration from the front end of the BMW iX3, featuring slim kidney grilles and a sleek design element. The headlights are connected to the design element adding an elegant touch of modernity to the design. The body of the Z4 receives subtle updates that better match the refreshed fascia. The artist also adds a silver finish and unique wheels to complete the design.

Even though this redesign is a beautiful reimagination of a classic car, this won’t ever see the light of day in an actual production model. There are two reasons mainly, first being that the digital artist who crafted this redesign is in no way affiliated with BMW. And secondly, the Z4 being an older non-EV production car will probably not see a redesign under the Neue Klasse design language.

However, there’s one hope that BMW lovers can hold on to, and that is the Z4 was supposed to be discontinued by now (2025) as per rumours in 2022, and the car is still in production and selling beyond expectations.

FAQs
