Ferrari Announces The Elusive F76, Except There’s One Catch: It Won’t Be A Real Car
SAUDI ARABIA: Ferrari has just announced the F76 as an NFT. Yes, an NFT and that too in 2025. The Italian marquee automaker hails the F76 as “Ferrari’s first ever digital hypercar.” So, as it stands right now, the F76 is just a design concept, and it is designed exclusively for members of the company’s Hyperclub program.

The design and development process of the F76 was a collaborative process with the ultra-rich of the world. They were given design options to customise their fictional car, and it is expected that this collaborative process worked as the building blocks of the F76.

However, it is crucial to note that Ferrari knew from the outset that the design process was not for a production model, but rather the F76 was never going to exist beyond a computer screen.
When talking about the purpose of the F76, the Ferrari Styling Centre under Flavio Manzoni mentioned that the virtual concept of the F76 will “prefigure the shapes of Ferraris of the future.” So, if you take this seriously, it means the future models from Ferrari will look drastically different from its existing lineup and lead to a significant shift in its design language. Ferrari’s design language has shifted already since their last Pininfarina-signed model, which ended production in 2017.
Even though the F76 won’t materialise into a production model, even inspired directly from it, it still shows that the bold design choices showcased in the F76 are on the horizon for Ferrari models in the near future. And considering this is a major move away from Ferrari’s known and loved design style, the order books for Ferrari just keep getting new entries, which indicate that interested buyers are more and more interested in the direction the brand is moving towards.
