Ferrari Brings Back The Iconic Testarossa For The First Time Since The Mid-1990s

SAUDI ARABIA: The Testarossa is one of the iconic titles from Ferrari that was immensely popular right from its launch in 1984. Due to the car’s charm and appeal, it remained in production for over a decade. Ferrari is bringing back its iconic Testarossa in 2025 as a hybrid supercar that respects its iconic past while improving the performance and making it in line with modern market requirements.

Ferrari Testarossa Front

The current Ferrari Testarossa will feature a hybrid V8 powertrain that produces over 1000 hp. The car can go from 0 to 62 mph (99.72 kmph) in just 2.3 seconds with a top speed of over 200 mph (321 kmph). The car’s design has changed significantly with this new version. However, there are still subtle nods to its predecessor that make this a wholesome design option. One of the key design aspects that connects the modern Testarossa to its predecessor is the lower front bumper of the car, which is angled and echoes the design of the original Testarossa’s front fascia.

Ferrari Testarossa: Engine & Performance

The new Testarossa is powered by Ferrari’s updated F154 V8 engine. The upgrades have improved the internals of the engine with added larger turbochargers compared to the SF90. The engine is extremely refined, and in a car that delivers over 1000hp, the engine alone delivers 818 hp, without bogging down the car with added weight. The engine is paired with three electric motors, two at the front and one in the back, to support the V8 engine. Combined, the electric motors offer an additional 216 hp, which brings the total power output of this car to just over 1000 hp (1036 hp). The electric motors are connected to a 6.5 kW per hour battery pack that has a range of 16 miles (25 km) and can reach speeds of up to 81 mph (130 kmph).
